WildPackets Announces Omnipliance Linux

This seems to be a trend. _A lot_ of companies realise the troubles Windows
is suffering (as well as make users suffer) and, also owing to demand, the
appliances (sometimes PC's) are ported to include a Linux option. I can
think of a dozen case studies from the past month.

It is only a matter of time before the customer makes an informed choice and
picks the more reliable (and usually cheaper) option. In most cases, prices
are the same, so the vendor makes more money on Linux sales (no 'Microsoft
tax'), which translates into financial incentives.
