The share of Live/MSN search kept declining while Google/Yahoo gained. This
is the third or fourth time I can recall that Microsoft launches a
supposedly 'brand new' engine that will {fix everything}^tm and "kill
Google", as Ballmer would promise.
...Same tactics when changing renaming Longhorn (the name of some pub) with
Vista. It's all about publicity and image of products that have no prospects
whatsoever.
