Microsoft are willing to kill security vendors -- those who saves their ass
over the years -- by closing the kernel, having full access to the source
code, and using the desktop monopoly to promote and sell their own security
products (i.e. 'bugfixes' to Windows).
Microsoft could challenge the OEM's by raising the cost an OEM must pay for
licenses and then sell hardware (e.g. modified XBox 260) for cheap. Since
Linux exists, I am not sure Microsoft can take on such abusive crusade.
Netscape...
Etc.
'Nuff said. Unethical. Rebellious. Greedy. Evil. Disruptive.
