I found that rather sad. You search for "cola" and you get "pepsi" among/at
the top of your matches (paid ad). And it's legally acceptable, albeit
unethical and unconstructive.

Microsoft has been buying the word "linux" for quite a while. Once the link
is followed, not only does it glorify self, but it also spreads lies about
the very same phrase the poster researched. Wait until Wikipedia gets a few
adverts and adopts the same concepts. I am sarcastic, of course.
