I tend to agree on that one. Screensavers can be replaced by a simple
unlocking prompt as they assume you're away. The only purpose for
screensavers is office (peer) vanity, but it proves to be distracting and
energy-inefficient. Contrariwise, wallpapers serve an important role. They
can make the work environment more inviting. This relates to a previous
disagreement/debate we had which revolved around the purpose of Compiz/XGL,
as well as eye candy and beautiful desktop environments in general.

PS/OT - I'll be back to posting some news shortly. I have been away since
yesterday and some news will have slipped out of the feeds by now, which
