I only took a glimpse at the article, but there appears to be no mentioning
of interaction at a neural level, let alone the impact of being physically
immersed in computing. I suppose that 14 years down the line this technology
may still be available only to a minority (Minority Report?) of users.

2020? It would definitely happen earlier than that. As I'm posting to COLA, I
have no doubt in my mind that domination of OS is inevitable. But advocacy
and actions on the ground can make the transition /quicker/ and more
complete.
