I find that more-and-more, when I run Windows, I am using it only to
run third party applications and not any of the Microsoft bundled
stuff. I use Firefox not IE, I use mplayer not WMP, and I will
probably continue to use Adobe over whatever MS supplies. This is
not motivated by any hostility toward Microsoft, I've just gravitated
toward the products that work best for me, and that's how it has
played out. Microsoft's exclusionary practices certainly has not
worked in their favor in that regard.
