U.S. schools may join inexpensive laptop project

The price could fall below $100, according to the peoject's leaders. Windows,
which would introduce many problems (security, speed, battery life, no real
book replacement) doubles the cost, so it's not an issue for Linux.
Governments have open source and free software policies in place.
