The only good part of this is that the world will increasingly belong
to divergent companies.
In the current economy, the old pump the stock scheme isn't working
anymore (witness flat prices from Google and Microsoft and Apple).
Eventually the crooks might get out of software altogether and go back
to garbage collection and candy store shake downs.
Meanwhile, there's lots of cool stuff being done by real technology
companies that are being richly rewarded:
