It was bound to happen. This looks like the "next big thing" is
happening, and it's on highly-mobile small linux devices, pretty much
exactly as I expected it would be.
I'm sure that Dell, HP, Samsung, Sony and others will all have devices
on the drawing boards, perhaps even close to prototyping, having seen
how the Eee has sold so far.
I was discussing it with the Head and ICT Admin at my school today - you
just can't buy them at the moment, stock is disappearing as fast as it
is coming in.
I think Asus have got themselves this year's iPod...
