Clearly you are full of bs.
You are shilling for micoshaft in Linux newgroups.
Probably spliffing heavily to make up for any missing facts.
Micoshaft is a dead end company as far
as the Open Source and Linux world is concerned.
Linux is now shipping 1 million embedded Linux products per day,
and shipping 1 million Linux desktops per month. And the rates
are increasing. Also some 75% of all big corporations
said at the beginning of 2007 that they have full intentions
to use open source for all their big projects.
Clearly Linux is winning the corporate battle.
It won't be long before Linux become mainstream (>7% desktop
share = mainstream). May be 2008 that would be achieved.

The only thing your sponsor can do is downsize.
The only thing you can do is UN-LEARN Windopws asap and
learn some Linux to help you get the next job.
