Hey man, it would be nowhere near this machine if I didnt have to 
make sure everything we need is "vista capable".  

The truth is, its not as horrid as all that.  It's really no worse
than XP is, but its also no better.  It IS stable; it's just not a
serious operating system for a business/professional user.  It's
pretty though, I'll give it that.

Even though it's really a badly implemented copy of leopard.

Wait, I take that back...there is one thing that blows XP away,
and that is searching.  Once the indices are built it really is
a very fast and very welcome shift from XP.

However, those of us in the Unix world have been doing the same
thing with Gnu-Find Utilities for over a decade.
