No, it was probably successful. It calmed him down when he said this, so no
chair needn't to be shredded to pieces. It's amazing how an evil entity can
begin to persuade itself that its enemy--that which fights /against/ the
evil--is in fact evil. Let's not pretend that a certain guy with a mustache
perceived the Brits as innocent victims. It must be one of those
characteristics one inhereits or develops as an abused child.
