Nice!   I can put in a $129 tuner, and use my $325 Viewsonic wide 22" as an
hdtv!   

For some reason, it seems like the pure monitor prices for LCDs have been
coming down faster than plain HDTVs...this could be a way to cut around the
profiteering!

What I really need to do is to figure out an ergometric way of having a
desktop computer also be a living room media center.
