Nice of you to do selective snippage. Article from:

>> /microsoft-renews-becta-contract

Was posted to indicate BECTA action, which is

A continuation of the first quote is:

| âThis extension will ensure that schools can continue to benefit from the
| discounts set out in the original MoU for a further 12 months. We work on
| behalf of schools to make sure that if they choose to purchase Microsoft
| products, they can get the best value from those licensing agreements.â

Which is rebutted in the next URL:

| It claims the Department for Education and Skills favours the use of
| proprietary technologies from the likes of Microsoft. This is despite
| extensive research by the government's education ICT quango, BECTA,
| showing that schools could save millions by switching to Open Source
| software.
|
| Sue McGuire, School Governor and member of the Open Schools Alliance said
| she is "concerned with the actual economics of the DfeS argument â someone
| must be able to explain why software that is supplied free of charge is
| supposed to cost more than similar software from the wealthiest company in
| the world."

Point is, Linux, Open Office and other open source low cost/no cost software
alternatives are not being considered by the educational institution.

| These guys make shit up as they go along.
|
| They are the epitome of hypocrisy and failed logic.

This type of attack is nothing new. This is an example of "Me Too" in
http://redwing.hutman.net/%7Emreed/warriorshtm/bigdogmetoo.htm

Notice the generalisation, "making up shit", "epitome of hypocrisy and
failed logic".

It is also an example of a misquotation of the charter to suite one's
agenda. This agenda is best expressed in the next E-mail:

This is the troll's punchline:

| No, it's a slam on windows, plain and simple.
