Try Sabayon. It's Gentoo with a load of proprietary software and drivers that
work 'out of the box' (even from the Live CD). A new version was released
last night. They sought seeders for the torrents, which means that there's a
heavy load as far as downloads are concerned. SabayonLinux has climbed up
astonishingly quickly in DistroWatch. Mind you, it's 'kind of' violating the
GPL. Enjoy it while it lasts...
