Microsoft is forcing me to Linux.
,----[ Quote ]
| As a disclaimer, I will say that none of my desktops run Linux now. I am a
| marginally disgruntled Windows user that could become quite gruntled if
| Microsoft backed off on its stupidities...
|
| It simply is not worth it anymore, I can't use Vista. Believe it or not,
| I was pretty neutral on XP, it did what I needed and usually worked
| in a mostly acceptable fashion. It has been mostly secure because I
| was not abjectly stupid. I had no reason to switch, but Microsoft
| has given me the choice of becoming a criminal or going to Linux.
| In a few weeks, I don't plan on looking back.

Cost analysis of Vista DRM: Part II
,----[ Quote ]
| Microsoft doesn't merely use DRM. To all intents and purposes it
| is DRM, better known as Digital Rights Management, Digital
| Restrictions Management or or just plain CRAP for Content
| Restriction, Annulment, and Protection, as ZDNet's David
| Berlind called it, eventually deferring to Richard Stallman's
| Cancellation, Restriction, and Punishment. We call it, simply,
| CCG, short for Consumer Control Gear.
