Considering the fact that, in the early years at least, Apple had more
personal computer business than IBM and Microsoft and was dethroned over the
years by the PC in spite of the invention of the Macintosh line. Many Apple
fans are certainly vociferous, but they hardly number so many as needed to
make Apple very successful. They hit upon the iPod as a master stroke and
seem to be much more noted for that than for their computers.
