This is the stuff that always got on my tits from the PC mags and hobbyists.
There is no good reason for Vista, or any other software, to be released
before it is ready. What is the point of pushing and pushing, which would
no doubt be followed with loads of complaints because it was released too
early.

Well of cause there is one point to it, it sells magazines.

If I was MS I would stick my head out the door and say 'Stop friggin
banging, Vista will be out when it's ready and not a day before'.

But of cause if I was MS it wouldn't be an XP upgrade I would be releasing.
It would be a Linux kernel with Linux security layer and a new MS Win
shell.

Or I would have popped Steve Jobs a heafty bung so I could buy Apple.inc,
then stuck a MS Win logo on the front and released that at an affordable
price. Oh and I would have sent an over night update to all my XP users
that disabled it with a message 'Your machine was found to be deficient so
it has been terminated. Please buy another one. Ta chuck'.

Strange really, when a job in marketing came up in the company I wasn't even
concidered for the post.
