BSD goes live with FreeSBIE 2.0
,----[ Quote ]
| Last year the Italian FreeBSD user group, GUFI, rekindled the
| FreeSBIE project to develop a live CD based on the FreeBSD
| operating system. After more than four months of development,
| and an equal number of beta releases, the project released
| FreesBIE 2.0 this month.

It might be nice to see how it compares with Linux. As far as I know,
Solaris, UNIXes, Windows and Mac OS have not got Live CDs (not to mention
Live DVDs).

| All things considered, Sabayon 3.25 really is a mammoth distribution.
| The developers have obviously spent a lot of time and effort
| improving not only the look and feel, but also the functionality
| of their offering. And it was worth it. Sabayon really looks
| finished now, and works out-of-the-box - the user doesn't have
| to know how to configure anything anymore.
