Virus, Instability, Spyware, Trojans, Adware

spells VISTA.

in toto, I count 45 programs harvesting, possibly reporting, who you
are, and, where you've been!

I disagree with any argument that mentions "If you aren't guilty, you
shouldn't mind this little intrusion". If I am presumed innocent under
the law, until PROVEN guilty, then you need to produce a warrant!

NEVER invite any authority into your home, car, boat, airplane, or, to
search you or your personal effects. They are PRIVATE and we must
demand proper due process under the law! My first demand is that they
contact my lawyer! But, then, I was a totally innocent civilian,
retired military, pensioner, until they passed that new law, last year!

Pinky and the Brain are in the Whitehouse... The Patriot Act removes our
 Due Process Rights.

I am insulted and feel greatly dis-respected, and know that the
sacrifices of my warrior father, in WWII are in vain, now that the USA,
my country, incarcerates people in prisons, without any due process, or
habeas corpus.

The fact that some 600 Guantanamo and Abu-Gharib men, women and
children, have been released as non-combatant innocent civilians caught
up in the fog of war is an indictment of the process!

Especially egregious are the tales of rape and torture! We call
ourselves 'civilized'?

Softpedia does have a huge amount of very good info, categorized well:
http://news.softpedia.com/cat/Linux/ Scarey the amount of data
collection of all data flowing through any AT&T servers/relays
(Agreements with the Departmant of State, CIA, NSA)!
