He loves the distro but not enough to keep it. Does he do his reviewing work
only on the installs that he is reviewing? I would have thought he would
have a machine for his own work and another for testing. So why not make
his own PC a Pardos I wonder.

Then the review itself, one thing stands out as extremely nasty while the
rest is pretty much the norm. 

The nasty part is Parados security. They give the user almost root access,
it seems to be a perculiar mix or rights, but in the end anyone who does
gain access to you as a user, also has full power to install and remove.

Now I am all in favour of having admin levels about the root. A bit like you
get on your chroot systems. But doing it the other way and relaxing user
rights is just not the Linux way, we must hold tight to our key features
security and user safety. 

So I would say that none us us who like linux should support Pardos.
