Kazehakase brings innovation to the browser
,----[ Quote ]
| Nowadays, half the free software world seems to be building
| Gecko-based browsers (and the other half writing plugins for
| them). With so many available, you might think the Kazehakase
| browser would hardly rate a mention. However, Kazehakase
| breaks away from the pack by being one of the few browser
| projects that is actually thinking of new features and
| ways to enhance old ones.

Linux.com screenshot in the article (with Microsoft's anti-Linux FUD as an
advert). They make money writing about Linux, by embedding anti-Linux lies.
Sad.

Fast forward with a Kazehakase web browser
,----[ Quote ]
| But all things considered, this is one hell of a browser in the making
| and is certainly going to be a serious contender to Firefox, at least
| among GNU/Linux users, if its succesful development continues. It has
| quite a few aces up its sleeve, supports the standard needs and is yet
| so much less memory hungry. It sure looks like a winner.

Slashdot promotes windows!

| This ad appeared on this mornings reload of Slashdot.org. It
| ran big bold headlines "LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE CHOOSES WINDOWS
| OVER LINUX FOR RELIABILITY!" and stopped at the frame shown here.
| The implication is "Windows is more reliable than Linux in server
| environments. You should run Windows Server 2003 if you want to

Fighting Claims That Open Source Is Insecure?
,----[ Quote ]
| Lately there has been a HUGE push by Certified Microsoft
| Professionals and their companies to call clients and warn
| them of the dangers of open source. This week I received calls
| from 4 different customers that they were warned that they are
| dangerously insecure because they run Open Source Operating
| systems or Software because 'anyone can read the code and hack
| you with ease' they are being told. Other colleagues in the area
| also have noticed this about 3 Microsoft Partners or so they claim
| have been going out of their way to strike fear of OSS in
| companies that respond with 'yes we use Open source or Linux'
| when the sales call comes in.

Reviewing a Microsoft anti-Linux case study
,----[ Quote ]
| The answer is that neither Linux nor Solaris nor any other Unix variant is
| mentioned in this report; Microsoft simply hung an anti-Linux label on a
| very carefully worded story about a pair of committed Microsoft partners,
| HP and Accenture, getting together with Microsoft to sell rather simple
| technology to a willing customer - whose employers, I think, should be
| seriously embarrassed.
