I had a couple of friends who were motor dealers. Sometime in the mid
to late 70's (I think it was) they wanted to sell Ford cars & vans. At
that time they had Vauxhall/Opel & (now defunct) British Leyland
dealerships in the same town but in different showrooms. Ford would NOT
let them have a dealership *unless* they got rid of the other two! In
other words Ford wanted a monopoly dealership. (They actually sold the
other dealerships to others members of the family, to get around that.) it
was sometime in the mid to late 80's (IIRC) that the EU ruled that it was
illegal for motor companies to demand that dealerships only sell *their*
product (I think it was called the "block exemption ruling") as it was
anti-competitive. Perhaps tehy should do the same thing with PC
manufacturers & M$.

Contrary to popular belief, the M$ trolls & shills
*can* tell the difference between their arse
& their elbow.
They can't talk out of their elbow.
