Speaking of which, Ecma, the industry-backed, coin-in-the-slot 'standards'
organisation is now used by Microsoft to defend the cash cow (with OOXML).
Ecma responded to contradictions that prevent acceptance by the ISO.
Legistlation is being bought.

How long before bloggers are being charged 'reach tax' in order to restrict
communication? Tiered Web is a good start. It protects giants and
monopolies.
