Microsoft's software has a similar impact on people's inbox. With traffic of
100 billion SPAM per day -- the vast majority of which (probably over 99%)
arriving from compromised Windows PCs -- E-mail has been rendered useless.
You know, an hour ago I did my monthly tour through the boxtrappers. I don't
even look at the mail. I just search for patterns in the subject lines,
using particular keywords. One very important E-mail was stuck there.
Luckily I tried the pattern 'google', only to find that on January 31st a
Google recruiter wanted to offer me a job.
Ahhh... the joys of SPAM. But it doesn't really affect anybody's life...
Not at all.
