ObHuh: Huh?

Several issues here.

[1] If XAML means "Transaction Authority Markup Language", then "XAML markup
    language" is quite redundant.

[2] This appears to be supported by BEA, IBM, Innodata/Isogen, SAP, and
    Sun Micro. http://xml.coverpages.org/xaml.html (Regrettably,
www.xaml.org appears to be slightly dead. Maybe this proposal is as
    well; it's dated 2000.)

[3] http://xml.coverpages.org/xamlFAQ20001025.html is a cached variant
of the XAML FAQ which among other things emphasizes its
    vendor-neutrality.

[4] There is some redundancy.
    http://www.webstandards.org/2003/10/27/longhorn-and-xaml/
mentions a 2003 effort which is apparently an answer
to Mozilla's XUL. It works with a project code-named
Avalon, which apparently collides with a discontinued
    Apache project name.

My brain is beginning to hurt.
