Open Source Software used in fight for human rights

| A secure, encrypted link is established and the user logs in using a
| username and password. Once this is done, the user is able to access
| all of the internet through this secure channel, thereby overcoming
| censors and avoiding detection. Because the web address is only sent
| to a few, trusted, people, the censors cannot easily find and block the
| location of the psiphon server.

The problem here is not 'piracy', which should not be condoned, but rather
the intrusion and the attempt to close down legitimate channels of
communication. Certain letters are being send which already characterise the
notion of P2P as some sort of crime, regardless of what information is
swapped.
