Symantec has been slinging mud ever since Microsoft announced they were
going to offer an antivirus product. They whine at every opportunity, and
have been making all kinds of "announcements" about things that are little
more than hyperbole.

BITS is a service, designed for general application use as well as OS use.
Sure, WindowsUpdate uses BITS, but so do a lot of other apps. To claim
that because some piece of malware utilizes BITS that WindowsUpdate has
been hijacked is not only dishonest, but a lie, which is common from you
Roy. You don't understand the articles you quote, and you rewrite their
headlines to make them more sensational at the cost of dishonesty.

Symantec did *NOT* say that WindowsUpdate had been Hijacked. *YOU* did.

Yahoo, on the other hand, did claim that "Windows Update's downloader" had
been hijacked, which isn't accurate either, but is a lot less inaccurate
than your headline.
