That would warrant an anti-trust enquiry and a banning order from EU for
access to its contents. The public have the right not to be misled and
new ways and new forms of misinformation arrive on regulator's desks
every day. Sometimes they act properly. Sometimes they don't
know how to react. Search results are one such thing which is good
as advertising ever can be in terms of value to members of the public.
Its time regulators acted to protect the public from misleading search
results and force on companies regulation over transparent policies on
how search results are formulated and displayed. Simple Anti-Linux skewing
of search results and practices of a similar kind will then become a thing
of the past.
