I think we need to consider just how bad things are in the computing
business.  Sales are abysmal at the moment, and this affects all players
very badly indeed.  Companies in trouble will do all kinds of things in
order to pull themselves out of it, just look at Novell, Linspire,
Turbolinux and so on signing up with Microsoft for some cash.
