So the truth of the matter is, that the hardware buyer is given little
choice but between Vista, which doesn't work properly, and which is
unpopular, and XP, which is practically obsolete.
All thanks to restrictive trade agreements between the OEMs and Microsoft.
The sooner the EU get a grip of this the better, followed (in the
interests of the US and other consumers) by the US authorities.
Trade subsidies are one thing: feather-bedding inefficient and incompetent
companies is surely something else.
