With the exception of Stephen and Matt Asay, C|Net is very pro-Microsoft
and 'patriotic'. They occasionally give their columns away to Microsoft
lobbying arms (who slam the EU, the GPL, Linux, patent opponents), they have
anti-Linux ads, they help Microsoft sell Vista (this was announced last
month), and they interview Microsoft staff.
C|Net is biased. Very much so. ZDNet is a little better, but it still feeds on
C|Net and Reuters material, so it gets the bad DNA of both.
