If this ever went further (Yahoo deal), Microsoft would find itself in even
hotter water in Europe (Linux is being tested in the paliament at the moment
and a Microsoft embargo considered). In Asia (China at the least) Microsoft
will face similar scrutiny.
You know what this bid is like? It's like a person drowning helplessly in the
middle of the Pacific, but going up again for some air to prolong life for a
bit...
Microsoft wants to spread some more damage with Yahoo, at the expense of its
health (cash reserves).
