I'm not trying to play Netcop, or anything like that.
You guys, from all 3+ sides-of-the-fence, must do exactly as you wish. It's
still a free 'net, as far as I am concerned.

However, let me draw your attention to something - to the ubuntu forum
alt.os.linux.ubuntu
in particular. Have a read?

I see there *six* threads "started" in the ubuntu forum by a flatfish
cross-post (none original - all with x-posts added) for 4 August, and another
set of 3 (one with 29 responses!) on 3 August.
In addition, there will be other groups to which he has added x-posts to
threads started in cola.

Remember, this is the idiot (I use the word advisedly) who is perpetually
telling us that Roy is spamming!

You guys do exactly as you like, and as is your right and your entitlement.

For my own part, I am simply going to be far more diligent in removing x-posts
on any topic to which I reply in cola. I am merely suggesting that some of
you good people might like to consider doing the same, and starve our old
friend of the attention which he so obviously craves.

As far as I am concerned, if he wants to cross-post, I can't stop him.
However, if no replies to those cross-posts appear on other groups, other than
those coming from his fellow trolls, then imo he/they are very convincingly
shown to be what they are.

Do me a favour, and at least think about it?:-)
