Who? Television owners?
The Microsoft/BBC Alliance could then just raise the fees. Just watch what they
did with Vista:
Want Channel 5? You need Ultimate Edition Licence for that.
Want to backup (tape) a show? You need to upgrade away from Home Basic to
Premium...
etc etc.
And you'd better not try to modify your television set by buying a new remote.
The TV might just disable itself...
