Yes, but it was a major incident at the time... Even made the front page of
some major sites. Conveniently, Microsoft needn't bother to check
compatibility with such 'evil' plugins.

Just seen a comment somewhere and it said that rather than fix the security
issues, "typical Microsoft" just disables the whole feature. Everything for a
forced upgrade...

How true.
