XP or any other version is a loser from the start. The eee with Linux
comes with OO.o and lots of other SW. Microsoft just can't compete in
the new low cost laptop & desktop market.

Asus are doing wonders in the low cost market. This year Lenovo will
offer $200 desktops and $250 laptops. Vista will never run on these
systems so at best Microsoft will offer XP. But isn't XP at end of
life?

The future is low cost HW that has the SW most users need. Microsoft
don't have the SW for these devices.

The big OEM's will be forced to offer Linux on their products if
they hope to remain competitive.

This is the start of great times for the consumer.
