AMD Phenom 32-bit vs. 64-bit Performance

| performance with the AMD Phenom, in most cases Ubuntu x86_64 was slightly
| slower than the 32-bit version. The only test where the 64-bit OS had a

| quality settings and then it was able to shine. As would be expected, in both
| LAME encoding and Gzip compression tests the 64-bit version of Ubuntu on the
