This is fun! Microsoft is fighting for long-term survival while reaching out
for *loans* and filing software patents in case it becomes SCO.

Office Live has just had some changes announced (PR), primarily and notably the
addition of free features, which indicate Microsoft is still trying to move
towards  the Web, _even when it comes to cash cows_. It is cannibalising the
biggest and one of the few cash cows in a struggling company with many failing
divisions (see below).
