It's the difference between "Windows user" and "Troll".
As both you and I have already conceded, there are Windows users in this
group who are not Trolls, although they seem to be in an extremely small
minority.
The only Mac users I ever see here who are not Trolls, are those who are
accidentally dragged here by X-Posting.
Of course one can argue, that an abrasive comparison of Windows to Linux
is bound to attract an equally abrasive response, and so certain fanboys
might take it personally, and therefore feel justified in Trolling.
As one of the more abrasive commentators on Windows, I can tell you that
my comments are not generally targeted at the *users*, other than asking
the question "Why?", but I fully admit that I am deeply critical of both
Microsoft and their products, and I make no apologies for that.
Reasonable debate from Windows users is welcome, but the Trolls can stay
in the killfile, where they belong.
