Retiring early is pretty the same as quitting. Gates and Allchin leave as well.
They bring in replacements _from the outside_! This has been the worst year
for Microsoft, no question about it. It also engaged in (and got caught for) a
lot of crime in 2007.

Ouch. Well, some XBox managers jumped the ship (the entertainment division is a
financial disaster), so maybe he's one of the "new guys" who don't know what
to tell the press. He screwed up and as one of the comments states: "Pure
Embarrassment. Posted: 15:28 10th January 2008".
