It's a bit more complicated. Linspire has 'collapsed' onto Xandros, making
things simpler, but there are 4 hardware vendors that signed a swpatents deal
that explicitly mentioned Linux as well. This means that they are gadgets to
avoid too.
To attack the problem, you'd have to eradicate the Sarkos and the Ballmers of
the world because they push for fascism in the (not so) 'intellectual' sense.
The biggest criminals typically wear suits, not eye patches
(so-called 'pirates').
