This is why there are anti-astroturfing laws in the EU. as of
26 May 2008.

It seems US has still not banned this practice and it relies on US government looking the other way for abuse of Charity
status. Billions are funnelled through charities to provide
Marketing services for donors so that their identities can
remain anonymous. The rest of the world AND THE US needs to
re-classify all these money taking charities that engage in
Marketing as corporations and tax them the full market tax
rate and open their books for monetary scrutiny. After all
they could be funded by criminals and terrorists and those who
work in this industry would never know that because there is
no information about donors.

If they did eliminate some of the tax breaks, then it would be worthy to note who is giving truly out of charitable cause.

Most of the astroturfing herein follows closely to the Microsoft Evangelism philosophy, "Use [...] the Internet, etc. to heighten the impression that the enemy is desperate, demoralized, defeated, [...] "associated with mental deficiency, as in, "he believes in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny". (reference PDF pages 45 & 55 on

http://www.groklaw.net/pdf/Comes-3096.pdf - Comes vs Microsoft lawsuit )

Flatfish (Moshe) follows this rule very closely along with Hadron and DFS.
