What about data theft? Let's assume that the thief boots it up a few times
before wiping it, too.
Either way, it's similar to the debate about CCTV and whether it actually
reduces crime (actual/fact versus feeling/illusion of perceived security).
Physical theft can't really be prevented by some packets.
