Actually, Rob Pegoraro is quite pro-Linux at times. Don't be judgmental based
on a single article. In this case, however, he forgot to point out what other
bloggers did (and posted about after testing): Microsoft Office for Mac does
not play nice with the same thing for Windows. It's a hoax. OOXML is a mess.
By the way, OOo's download pace jumped up to 1,200,000+ a week _within a few
months_, so the reference about it a bit out of date. ;-) This might indicate
that people really /do/ hate the ribbon, explore ODF, need to save money,
realise that OOo 2.4 with OpenGL acceleration is pretty nifty and with 3.0
coming later this year it moves faster than MSO ever had.
