Name something.

My personal favorite are USB remotes. That remote that comes bundled
with the mini just doesn't cut it. A real HTPC is going to need a bit
more than what Apple thinks ( like zoom and volume ).

I've got USB drives for 2.5, 3.5 and 5.25. I've got an Archos and a
Sony digicam and a Firewire DV cam that I've been using with Linux
for about 6 years. I have an HP multifunction printer that's fully
supported.

I can use any of the family ipods with Linux too.

Linux users avoid crap because it's crap, not because it doesn't
have Linux support. The Winmodem in my cheapest-available-desktop
machine is supported under Linux apparently but I've never bothered
to try it out.
