FolderView Gets Nepomuk Search Integration

| Probably the most often misunderstood element of KDE4 is Plasma, the
| extensive widget engine that replaces the normal desktop and the Kicker panel
| from KDE 3.x. The entire KDE4 desktop is built up out of Plasmoids (yet
| another term for desk accessory), including the panel and the desktop
| itself - and it is the latter that has been causing quite some confusion.
| Where are my desktop icons?

KDE 4.0.82 + Kubuntu Tutorials Day

,----[ Quote ]
| Kubuntu was very usable but a little short of features with 4.0.4 at the
| time. I haven’t checked 4.0.5 and don’t plan to. That is because KDE 4.1 Beta
| is out and it is reasonably stable. Its just Beta 1 and we have more than a
| month till the final release and what a time leading up to the release its
| going to be! There are rapid commits being made, bugs being fixed and
| polishing being done. There’s a new Plasma theme and it looks awesome. You
| can see it in my desktop screenshot and notice the carbon-fibre clock which
| in my opinion, really stands out.

KDE is a technical success. It's just a marketing mistake. They ought to have
marketed 4.0 as a placeholder for developers right from the very start.

Hands on: Plasma continues to advance in KDE 4.1 beta 1

,----[ Quote ]
| KDE 4.1 development is moving at a swift pace and the environment will offer
| much of the functionality required by average users when it is finally
| released in late July. Those who want to try it early should check out the
| KDE4Daily initiative, which offers frequently updated builds that can be
| tested in a Qemu environment.

KDE 4 rev 790000: Better stability and performance

,----[ Quote ]
| This is another revision of the development version of KDE 4 environment.
| Lots of you have asked why it took me so long to publish this article. Well,
| I was just waiting for rev 790000, that’s all. I hope that your curiosity
| will be satisfied since there’s been a lot of changes to describe this time.
| I did my best.
