Linux Mint 5.0 Builds Upon Ubuntu Hardy

,----[ Quote ]
| Linux Mint, one of the popular desktop distributions that's based off Ubuntu,
| has come out with version 5.0 "Elyssa" that builds upon the 8.04 Hardy Heron
| release. Linux Mint 5.0 brings updates to the unique Mint Tools, GNOME 2.22,
| performance improvements, and other features that come because of rebasing
| against this latest Ubuntu release. In this article we are taking a brief
| look at some of the Linux Mint features, for those that have never explored
| this fast-growing distribution.

[ANNOUNCE] xorg-server 1.4.1

,----[ Quote ]
| Suspend your disbelief, it's 1.4.1. Better imperfect than never at all,
| I guess. Contains a few security and input fixes, some memory leak
| fixes, and a few misc bits.

Multi-touch support for MPX [in Linux]

,----[ Quote ]
| MPX already supported multiple input devices. Which blows pretty much all
| assumptions in user interfaces (input) out of the water. Now I've gone one
| step further and added support for multi-touch displays. Have a look at this
| video...

MPX has been merged

,----[ Quote ]
| For those of you watching xorg-commits, you may have noticed that MPX has
| been merged into master [1].  The client-side libraries and protocol headers
| have been merged quietly last week already, this time is just the xserver
| itself.
