The Day I Closed The Windows

,----[ Quote ]
| The Debian installation was largely trouble-free and, as you can see from the
| screenshot, I've got a rather stylish system running which also happens to be
| as solid as a rock. That other slice? Well, as I write this DesktopBSD's
| excellent package manager is gathering and installing some program upgrades.
| A couple have failed (source-based installs of Mozilla Thunderbird and
| Mozilla Firefox, incidentally) but, no matter – solving problems is all part
| of the fun of learning to use a new operating system. I'm as excited about
| having my first permanent DesktopBSD system to play with and learn about as I
| was with my first Linux distribution all those years ago.
|
| Do I miss Windows? Not yet – it's only been a few days – and to be honest, I
| don't expect I ever will.

He relies on the study from CompTIA, a Microsoft lobbying arm which blames the
users, not Windows.
